VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

General Support – Volunteers in this role will help with various tasks throughout the event. Responsibilities include welcoming participants, managing the sign-in process, answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with parking or security as needed. You will also serve as a point of contact for any additional support that families or staff may require during the event.

Camping – Volunteers will assist families in setting up tents and creating a comfortable campsite. Guide participants in basic camping tips and ensure that everyone feels confident and safe in the outdoors.

BB Guns – Ensure safety is the top priority during the BB gun activity. Supervise the target practice area, demonstrate how to handle the BB guns safely, and guide participants, making sure all rules are followed.

Fishing – Help set up fishing rods and show participants how to cast a line. Assist families in reeling in fish and provide tips on basic fishing techniques. Ensure safety around the water.

Archery – Volunteers will oversee the archery range. Provide instruction on proper bow and arrow usage, ensure safety protocols are followed, and guide participants through their first shots with encouragement and expert advice.

Survival – Volunteers will help with general survival type activities like fire making, knot tying, trap building. All areas of this would have information on each one so if you experienced or not, we can guide you through it

Crafts & Camping Fun – Help organize and facilitate camping-themed crafts and fun activities. Encourage creativity and assist families with their projects.

Camp Cooking – Guide participants through the process of preparing and cooking a meal over a campfire. Ensure safety around the fire and assist in the preparation of ingredients.

Wildlife Exhibit – Volunteers will assist in organizing and guiding participants through the local wildlife exhibit. Ensure participants engage respectfully with the exhibit and provide information as needed.
